This was the first “breadboard” regulator made entirely from basic components. It used an H-Bridge to generate a PWM signal to the alternator field coil, and I was able to measure the relationship between field voltage and output current (at engine idle speed) for my Hamilton Ferris small-frame alternator. The scrap lexan sheet made an easy non-conductive mounting system for the 5+ individual modules, but it was not beautiful.
